Aubrey Vincent Beardsley was an English illustrator and author. His drawings in black ink, influenced by the style of Japanese woodcuts, emphasized the grotesque, the decadent, and the erotic. His recognisable style has influenced graphic artists ever since his death, age 25 in 1898.

My personal tribute includes fabric design (applied to a chair), a menu design (based off a similar menu design by Charles Rennie Mackintosh) and a depiction of a scene from Ovid’s Metamorphoses.
