Optus is a major player in the Australian telecommunications market, and the amount of their digital output is huge over print, outdoor and digital. When in 2011 they introduced a partially new visual identity, it needed to be then applied over hundreds of banners, EDMs, campaigns, and microsites, both consumer and business facing.

Originally hired as a freelancer at M&C Saatchi Sydney, I gladly took to the role of brand guardian, overseeing work by other designers and developers to ensure output adhered to the new visual identity and maintained the usual standard of excellence.

While I oversaw all Optus digital work, I also worked with art directors on a variety of microsites for Optus Business, and developed digital guidelines for the newly introduced branding.
